On September 17, employees of the Ungava Tulattavik Health Center (UTHC) working in Kangiqsujuaq took the initiative to organize a community BBQ.

On the menu: great food, smiles, and above all, lots of fun!
The event gave employees the chance to cook plenty of food and share a good time with the community, their colleagues, and members of the UTHC Board of Directors.
Getting Together in a Different Way
A BBQ is also a wonderful opportunity to meet in a different setting.
Employees were able to interact with patients, service users, and community members in a festive setting, far from the usual context of healthcare and social services.
These simple moments allow us to get to know one another better, have conversations, and build meaningful connections. They also help strengthen trust and a sense of belonging to the community.

A Moment for Employees and Administrators
The BBQ also gave Kangiqsujuaq employees the chance to meet with UTHC board members, who were visiting for their board meeting from September 14 to 17.
It was a wonderful opportunity to chat informally, share a meal, and take the time to talk outside of a work setting.
UTHC would like to acknowledge the commitment and initiative of the Kangiqsujuaq employees who helped make this event a wonderful time of togetherness.
Working together also means taking the time to get together, share, and build connections with the community.
A big thank you to everyone who participated in this BBQ and helped make it such a warm and unifying event!
